Product Introduction:

This instrument is designed with a human-machine integration concept, offering easy operation and accurate, reliable data.

1. Functionally, this machine is a road comprehensive performance tester that simulates electric driving roads. Through a complete set of intelligent control systems including microcomputer PLC AC servo controllers, it enables vehicle measurement. It complies with the technical standards of UL2849 and can measure various parameters of the electric vehicle's operating state, including vehicle speed, power supply voltage, and current usage, which can be displayed as curves on a computer. It can also measure the startup of power-assisted electric vehicles, the assisted startup speed, and the delay time and distance generated during assisted pedaling stop and assistance cancellation. The roller can drive the tested vehicle to operate in reverse.

2. Suitable Range: The machine has a wide adaptability range and can measure front-drive and rear-drive power-assisted bicycles. It is suitable for vehicles with different wheel diameters, widths, and wheelbases. The instrument is equipped with a loading method using weights for road simulation with a 250mm roller, as well as a measurement method where the entire wheel is lifted off the ground.

4. The wheelbase adjustment part of the test wheel adopts an electric linkage and self-locking method. This reduces mechanical clamping time and difficulty, shortening the clamping time from dozens of minutes to just a few seconds. The clamping is accurate, and the operation is simple and fast. The loading of weights and the placement of the electric push rod reduce manual effort and improve operator safety.

5. The connection transmission part for power-assisted bicycles transmits the device's drive to the pedal shafts of various electric vehicles. Due to the significant differences in the types, models, and sizes of the tested vehicles, we designed a three-dimensional adjustment device and a universal coupling connector that can adjust the position up and down, front and back, and left and right. This allows for convenient adjustments and easy connection of the instrument's transmission to the tested vehicle through the universal coupling connector.

6. All software is genuine and includes a measurement mode, directly displaying measurement data and related information. The computer controls the entire process automatically, and the control system features power-off memory functionality. It automatically stops if the required precision is exceeded.

1. Main Testing Requirements:

The design of this machine complies with the standard UL2849, referencing standards including: GB3565-2022, EN15294/2009, and 15194/2017.

2. Testing Principle:

Reverse testing: The servo motor drives the electric vehicle in reverse through the roller at the speed and mileage data set by the computer.

Vehicle Speed

Install and secure the power-assisted bicycle on the machine. Set the corresponding parameters on the computer and select the power-assisted bicycle (refer to computer settings for details). Connect the tester's assistance motor to the pedal shaft of the power-assisted bicycle. If the power-assisted bicycle has multiple gears, adjust to the speed gear, then start the test. The computer will automatically control the assistance motor to accelerate uniformly, bringing the power-assisted bicycle into the assistance state. After one minute of balanced operating speed, the result is obtained: Disconnect the battery of the electric vehicle or power-assisted bicycle and power it with the tester's power supply. Adjust the voltage to the standard voltage of the configured vehicle, then start the vehicle and initiate the computer test. Uniformly reduce the power supply voltage until the tested vehicle stops. The computer automatically measures the under-voltage protection voltage of the vehicle.

Under-Voltage Protection: Disconnect the battery of the electric vehicle or power-assisted bicycle and power it with the tester's power supply. Adjust the voltage to the standard voltage of the configured vehicle, then start the vehicle and initiate the computer test. Uniformly reduce the power supply voltage until the tested vehicle stops. The computer automatically measures the under-voltage protection voltage of the vehicle.

Over-Current Test

Power-Assisted Bicycle: Remove the brake protection switch of the corresponding drive wheel of the electric vehicle or power-assisted bicycle. Set the relevant parameters and start the test. When the tested vehicle reaches a uniform speed, apply brake damping to stop the vehicle. The test is completed, and the computer automatically measures and records the over-current protection current.

*Power

Electric Vehicle and Power-Assisted Bicycle: Set the vehicle and relevant computer parameters, then start the test. When the tested vehicle enters a uniform state for 15 seconds, the vehicle's output power is achieved. The computer measures and records the vehicle's power.

*Power Consumption per 100 Kilometers

Electric Vehicle and Power-Assisted Bicycle: Set the vehicle and select the relevant options on the computer. The computer measures the power required for the electric vehicle or power-assisted bicycle to travel one kilometer at a speed greater than 12.5 km/h and correspondingly measures the power consumption per 100 kilometers.

*Durability Test

Electric Vehicle and Power-Assisted Bicycle: Set the vehicle and select the relevant options on the computer. Place the vehicle on the test machine and run it for 100 kilometers, then observe the wear and tear of various components to determine the vehicle's durability.

Brake Power-Off Auto-Stop

Install the brake trigger switch (tester peripheral) on the hand brake of the tested vehicle, synchronizing it with the vehicle's brake power-off switch. Start the test. When the tested vehicle reaches the speed to be measured, apply the brake, and the computer automatically measures the data. (The speed adjustment for power-assisted bicycles is selected in the computer parameter settings.)

Power-Assisted Bicycle Assistance Startup Speed

After selecting the parameters on the computer, start the measurement. The assistance motor will accelerate uniformly, driving the wheel and enabling the power-assisted bicycle to start automatically. This measures the speed required for the power-assisted bicycle to start with assistance.

Power-Assisted Bicycle Non-Assistance Auto-Stop

Select the computer parameters, install the vehicle, and start the test. The tester drives the wheel to the set speed, then automatically stops the assistance motor. The distance traveled by the vehicle after power-off is measured.
